Because BHRT pellets are not a drug, they are a natural product.  The FDA only requires approval for altered products, which are considered a drug or medication. So, in other words it is not required like other supplements.  But, they are FDA monitored and tested for exceptional quality.  Most insurance do not cover supplements and this is why we do not bill insurance for this treatment.
